Inside Kenya's First Celebrity Fight Night

Kenya’s entertainment scene is gearing up for an unexpected crossover moment as HustleSasa teams up with rapper and media personality Barak Jacuzzi to launch the country’s first-ever Celebrity Fight Night, powered by Juice Bet. Set for November 2, 2025 at The Alchemist in Westlands, the event marks a bold experiment at the intersection of sports, pop culture, and performance.

The concept is simple but ambitious: pair some of the country’s most recognizable media and entertainment personalities and let them settle their differences, or simply put on a show, in the boxing ring. The fight card includes Jacuzzi facing content creator Lumu, Shaq the Yungin taking on Alby, Jezza against Vic Max, and Munyax versus Young Louie, drawing figures from rap, radio, and Kenya’s internet culture into an arena more commonly associated with professional athletes.

For HustleSasa, the event is a statement about the evolution of Kenyan entertainment. “We want to bring fans closer to the action and reimagine what events can be,” noted the company’s leadership team in the launch announcement. Juice Bet, the title sponsor, sees the format as fertile ground for cultural growth and future expansion.

Beyond punches and bragging rights, the night promises DJ sets, celebrity appearances, and a party-like atmosphere designed to keep crowds engaged long after the final bell. Organizers say it’s only the beginning: if successful, Fight Night could become a recurring feature in the country’s entertainment calendar, signaling a new era where Kenyan stars trade microphones and cameras for gloves and fans get ringside seats to the spectacle.
