Spectra is a creative space bringing together artists, thinkers and audiences for talks, panels and performances. A sibling to FOTA, rooted in the same belief that East African culture deserves its own stage.

Vol III: Spectra × FOTA

The third edition of Spectra headlined by Maya Amolo, alongside The One Who Sings, Unkle Ankh, Thu Lanii, Mo Nzo and Burugu, with special guest performances from Zowie Kengocha and Ashè. In collaboration with WhoWhatWhere Magazine at Creatives Garage, Nairobi.

Vol II: The Femme Edition

The second edition of Spectra celebrated women and femmes with an all-femme lineup at Creatives Garage, Nairobi. Featuring live performances from Ashe, Nabalayo and Mphilo, with a DJ set by Onyando. Half of the ticket proceeds were donated to an organisation supporting women and children in need.

Vol I: Spectra × Luku

A night of music, art and sensory experience at Anansi Complex, Westlands. Headlined by RnB and Soul artist Zowie Kengocha and Deep House connoisseur KNVL, accompanied by Ndung'u Mbithi, DJ G400, Capespring, Gitau and The Rugbones. Vinyl, visual art and an atmosphere where every sight and sound felt like a work of art.
